Spotted from the Crow's Nest:Beach House Tour
Leah Mullers Interiors

In our little coastal town of Vero Beach, Florida we have many wonderful interior designers that use they expertise to create the endless beautiful interiors that we call home. Vero Beach, located on the east coast of Florida is not quite the hidden gem it once was, people come in droves every year to take in what makes this tropical getaway so special. Design often adds to the identity of a place and in Vero Beach there is a natural gravitation towards coastal living that is often associated with the feel of places like the West Indies. Local Vero Beach designer Leah Muller has just the touch when it comes to achieving this particular seaside feel, as seen here in her elegant John's Island model home.

Great Room: This room has all the elements we love; open, light, warm and crisp. The cool tones leave you feeling relaxed but, there is no feeling of stuffiness. The best way to put it is "relaxed formal", isn't that what we are truly striving for?

Master Bedroom: One of our favorite tricks is instead of going crazy with color try to add variations on texture. Often people think to differentiate a room it must separate from the rest of the home but there are subtle ways to accomplish that. Here the bedding mixes and matches soft textures to create ultimate luxury.

Bedroom #2: I think we can all agree here that is truly an exquisite shade of blue! The color stand on it's own bringing the rest of the room together effortlessly.

Bedroom #3: If you have multiple bedrooms let one have twin beds. It changes it up and is very convenient for multiple guests. Plus you get to have a little more playful fun with the bedding, I mean those ikat pillows are kind of amazing!

Master Bathroom: The cool colors with the white lend to a nice soothing feel in the master bath that leave you feeling clean and fresh. The center stool gives the room an element of interest, when you get closer you see it's upholstered in a terry cloth material, unexpected but perfect for the bathroom!

Kitchen: One of the most beautiful things you can do in a kitchen is find unique marble or granite that has personality. This marble is elegant yet the movement in it makes a statement. Couldn't love it more!

  1. Sorry, I couldn't live in this house....looks more like a hotel suite than someone's home. Can you honestly see a family living there? Now, with that said, I surely wouldn't refuse a week there!

  2. I think with different photography it would look a lot different. The colors appear washed-out and I don't think that is how it is in person. I have not been in this house. Even though the designer played it safe, she probably satisfied the customer. We all can't be David Bromstad!
